Since we accept credit card purchases, sometimes people assume we are not being consistent with our message of debt control and reduction. This is not the case. While I am no fan of credit cards, I do not believe that it’s a sin to have one. (As a matter-of-fact, I have two: personal and business.)
In NDNS! I warn of the dangers of credit card misuse (Credit Cards: Plastic Prosperity or Plastic Explosives?) And while I certainly don’t promote card usage-I see nothing inherently wrong with it either.
Our fundamental teaching has to do with the thoughtful, controlled, and disciplined use of credit cards. So if you own a credit card and wish to use it to purchase any of our products, you are welcome to do so provided three things: 1) You are current and pay your full balance off every month; 2) If you are married, both you and your spouse are in agreement on this purchase: and 3) You buy no more with your card than you would if your were paying with cash.
NOTE: If you prefer not to use a credit card, we encourage you to use our down-loadable order form. Just print it, fill it out, and mail it in with your check or money order.
